The province’s Particular Investigations Unit is wanting into two separate deaths in Toronto on Saturday evening.
The police watchdog says officers responded to a name for unknown hassle at a residence on Castledene Crescent in Scarborough round 7:30 p.m.
“A police negotiator made contact with the person. Through the negotiation, the person sustained a critical harm,” learn a quick assertion issued by the SIU on Sunday morning.
Police administered first help till paramedics arrived. The 41-year-old man was pronounced lifeless in hospital.
Within the second incident the SIU says police had been known as to a residence on Church Road round 11:30 p.m. for studies a person was armed with a gun.
“After police arrived, the person barricaded himself within the unit. Police entered the unit and positioned the person in medical misery,” the SIU stated in an announcement.
The SIU says the 34-year-old man was pronounced lifeless a short while later.
The SIU is an impartial company that investigates the conduct of officers which will have resulted in loss of life, critical harm, sexual assault and/or the discharge of a firearm at an individual.
