Pedestrian in Mississauga injured by potential hit-and-run driver

A driver didn’t stay on scene after working right into a pedestrian in Mississaga on Monday evening (Nov. 15), police say.

At 9:21 p.m., Peel Regional Police acquired a name {that a} male had been struck by a driver within the space of Atwood Lane and Derry Highway. He has been taken by ambulance to a neighborhood hospital to be assessed.

The driving force didn’t stay on the scene, police mentioned. Any motorist who doesn’t stay on the scene of a collision could be charged beneath the Ontario Freeway Visitors Act.
