Police say they’ve recognized dozens of victims and laid extra voyeurism fees towards a Brampton man accused of snapping up-skirt pictures of unsuspecting ladies.
Final yr, Peel Regional Police charged a 31-year-old Andre Lawrence in relation to a string of voyeurism incidents in July and August 2020.
Investigators now say they’ve recognized at the least 36 victims and say there should be extra.
On July 25, 2020, Lawrence allegedly entered the ladies’s washroom of a division retailer within the space of Decision Dr. and Steeles Ave. East in Brampton.
Police say Lawrence was hiding within the lavatory and used a cellular phone to snap an image of a 28-year-old lady within the stall subsequent to him. Lawrence then allegedly fled the scene after being found.
Two days later, police say Lawrence once more used a cellular phone to take an up-skirt picture of a 25-year-old lady at a drugstore close to Kennedy Rd. South and Queen St. East.
Lawrence reportedly assaulted the girl, and police stated Lawrence might also ahve been concerned in a 3rd incident the next month at a shopping center within the space of Kennedy Rd. South and Clarence St.
Police had beforehand charged the person with sexual assault, mischief and two counts of voyeurism, and now police say they’ve laid one other 36 voyeurism fees towards the 31-year-old.
